Frontier Internet is experiencing a service outage on its Frontier network.
The outage is affecting customers across the country.
Frontier says that its outage is related to a security vulnerability in the company’s routers.
We’re currently working with the Frontier team to determine the cause of the outage.
Frontier customers are being advised to try to connect to the Frontier network using the default configuration.
If the router does not appear to be working, customers can follow the instructions below.
Please note that the outage is occurring across the entire Frontier network and not just Frontier’s core network.
We apologize for the inconvenience.
Frontier is working closely with its network and customer service team to resolve the issue.
Frontier’s customer service representatives are available to help customers during the outage, as well as during peak periods.
Customers are also encouraged to follow the following steps to restore service: Restart the router to a new default configuration If the service interruption is affecting Frontier’s primary network, customers should reconnect to the same network and try again.
If Frontier is experiencing any outages in its Frontier-branded routers, customers are encouraged to go to the customer service page and sign up for a Frontier router account.
