You might not want to see all the ads that Hulu is showing, but that’s OK!
It’s a feature that’s coming to the service in the next few weeks.
Hulu’s not launching all its ads at once, but rather will allow you to watch ad-free content on Hulu Plus over the next year.
That’s the same model that Netflix has been using for years.
You can browse and choose to pay to watch Hulu Plus ads, but you won’t get the full experience.
You’ll still be able to download ad-blocking apps like OptiPlex and Unblock Me to watch the full Hulu experience.
Hulu will also introduce a new ad-targeting feature, which will allow the company to use more targeted advertising on certain shows and films, and will also give users the option to opt out of those ads.
Hulu Plus will be available to consumers on December 15, but we’ll have a full review for you soon.
